About The Dominion Theatre

Just outside Tottenham Court Road tube station, the Dominion theatre is an imposing building and one of the biggest venues in the West End with just under 2200 seats. It opened in 1929 as a theatre/cinema which meant the auditorium was vast and deep, perfect for grand-scale productions. Just off Oxford Street, the Dominion is perfectly placed to enjoy all the West End has to offer, with easy transport links and a whole range of restaurants and bars just around the corner.

Hugely entertaining, energetic and colourful!
I saw this show in December 2024 and the difference is quite remarkable! Even in the circle foyer, new attractions have been installed and patrons can appear on the ‘cover’ of ‘RUNWAY’! The show itself seems much tighter and more cohesive than on my first viewing. I’ve stated before, the set designs together with the lighting design across the huge proscenium width is very clever and the actual acting area of the stage does not lose any intimacy viewed from the Dominion’s immense auditorium! This show is West End entertainment at its very best! “That’s all!” HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “GO!”….🙄
