About The Dominion Theatre

Just outside Tottenham Court Road tube station, the Dominion theatre is an imposing building and one of the biggest venues in the West End with just under 2200 seats. It opened in 1929 as a theatre/cinema which meant the auditorium was vast and deep, perfect for grand-scale productions. Just off Oxford Street, the Dominion is perfectly placed to enjoy all the West End has to offer, with easy transport links and a whole range of restaurants and bars just around the corner.

A great new musical
This is a fantastic musical version of the popular film. The actors in the lead roles are well cast and belt out some great new songs. The music is as good as you'd expect from Elton John. My friend and I loved having a bit of fun striking a few poses in the Runway magazine cover photo box and by the floral red shoe display (first floor beyond the champagne bar). Thoroughly enjoyable night out.
